Struggling Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club have set their target for the first half of the MTN Super League campaign following a poor start to the 2025-26 season, having failed to record a single win from the opening six matches.
Speaking after the team’s goalless draw against Mufulira Wanderers on Friday at Shinde Stadium, head coach Zeddy Saileti revealed that the immediate focus is to stay clear of relegation danger by mid-season.
“Half target—we don’t want to be in the relegation zone,” Saileti said.
Dynamos, who have collected just three points since their promotion, remain without a victory, losing three games and drawing three.
Despite the difficult start, Saileti remains optimistic that a turning point is near.
“This is football, anything can happen. The moment we win, we can even win three or four in a row, and it will give us lots of confidence. We just need to win the game,” he added.
The coach expressed satisfaction with his side’s performance on Friday, highlighting the progress made in teamwork and game management.

“Am pretty happy with the performance. We have improved in a lot of areas, we played team, and the team, controlled the game. Playing at Shinde is not easy, but we played very well,” Saileti said.
However, scoring goals remains a major concern for the Solwezi-based side, who have only managed to find the net once so far this season.
“That is our program. We haven’t been scoring goals; it’s our problem. They have to be strong,” he admitted.
