After NAPSA Stars FC’s away draw against Green Buffaloes in their Week 6 league match on Saturday, head coach Sipho Mumbi was left feeling frustrated with his strikers.

A Lusaka derby, there was goalless draw between home side, Green Buffaloes, NAPSA Stars, in a tightly contested match..

Neither team was able to score despite both teams creating scoring opportunities.

Napsa Stars substituted several players in the second half, including Yusuf Athuman Shaban for Adams Zikiru, Augustine Mulenga for Zikiru Adams, and Christopher Bwalya for Timothy Sichalwe.

However, the changes did not have the intended effect because both teams kept canceling each other out.

Following the match, Mumbi had conflicting thoughts about the outcome.

“I guess we just have to work on the strikers; they are not scoring, and going into the next game, that’s the loophole we’ll be looking into,” he said.

After the draw, Napsa Stars is 13th on the log with 6 points. Their next fixture is against Nchanga Rangers on October 4, 2025, in Chingola.
