Kabwe Warriors head coach George Chilufya says his team is highly motivated and is looking forward to facing Zanaco in what promises to be an interesting encounter.
Zanaco will host Kabwe Warriors in their Week six league fixture at Sunset Stadium on Sunday.
In addition to Zanaco Coach Numba Mumamba playing against his former employer, the Warriors, Mangani Banda will return to Sunset, his former team.
Kabwe Warriors come into this game high on confidence after they defeated Green Buffaloes in their previous home fixture.
The Kabwe-based side has been outstanding in the new campaign, having won two games and drawn three matches.
Warriors remain unbeaten and have managed to score two goals and keep a clean sheet in all their matches.
The Railway men are occupying seventh place with nine points from five games played.
However, speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, Chilufya believes the team is ready to deliver a positive result.
“Every game is important to us. I think we shall continue treating them just the same, and the Zanaco game is not exceptional. We are going there with high hopes because of what we have done in training. I think we have touched in every area and are looking forward to the game,” he said.
“They have done very well so far. And that will make us go there with an underdog tag, so we are going to do whatever we can. We have already prepared well for them,” added Chilufya.
Meanwhile, both teams are unbeaten in their previous matches and will be looking forward to extending their unbeaten run.
