Fashion Sakala marked his 100th appearance in the Saudi Pro League with a goal for Al Fayha, who were held to a 2-2 draw by Al Hazem.
Sakala, who joined Al Fayha at the start of the 2023/24 season, equalised for his side in the 33rd minute after they fell behind just five minutes into the match.
However, Al Fayha’s hopes of securing all three points suffered a setback in the 69th minute when Sultan Tunkar scored an own goal to restore Al Hazem’s lead.
Al Fayha salvaged a point after being awarded a penalty in the 89th minute, which Algerian international Amir Sayoud converted to make it 2-2.

Since moving to Saudi Arabia, Sakala has scored 42 goals and provided 15 assists in 100 appearances, establishing himself as Al Fayha’s all-time leading scorer.
In the current season, however, the Chipolopolo captain has managed just two goals in nine appearances.
Speaking to BolaNews last month, Sakala revealed that he intends to retire in Saudi Arabia.
“Saudi Arabia is a very nice country. I like it there, and I will retire there,” Sakala disclosed. “In 2029, I will be 32, and I think I will sign another two-year contract [with Al Fayha]. I plan to retire in Saudi Arabia.”
