Red Arrows, 2023-24 Zambian Super league champions, will play the Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi in the CAF Champions League.
For their third attempt at the competition, the Army sponsored side will be looking to go past the second round.
Red Arrows head coach Chisi Mbewe has described the encounter against Nyasa Big Bullets as a tricky fixture.
“A fair and tricky draw for us I think we are happy about the draws the most important thing for us is just to ensure we prepare adequately so that we are ready for Nyasa bullets,” he said.
“I think it’s a good side, a well-motivated and sponsored team. We will try by all means to search more about Nyasa bullets”
Mbewe, a league double winner with Arrows during the 2023-24 season, is confident the team is ready to compete.
“For us we have always been preparing adequately regardless whom we have been drawn with because we know that the level at which we will be competing at is a high level, so the most important thing is to prepare adequately and face whoever we have been drawn with,” concluded the coach.
The first leg will take place between August 16 and 18, 2024, with the return fixture between August 23 and 25, 2024.
