Kingstone Mutandwa scored six goals in his last five matches for Servette across all competitions, including a brace in a 4-0 Swiss Cup win over Rotkreuz. The striker nodded Servette into a 2-0 lead in the 42nd minute before calmly slotting it home with his right foot in the 75th minute.

In the CAF Champions League, Albert Kangwanda was on fire, chalking up a goal and two assists as Yanga SC thumped CFFA 4-0 in the first leg of the second round qualifiers. He got onto the scoresheet after ghosting in at the far post to guide the ball past the goalkeeper in the 47th minute.

His subsequent cross and throughball created two further goals for Yanga while extending his personal tally to four goals and five assists in 10 matches.

Benson Sakala returns from injury, Mathews Banda makes world-class assist.

In Bohemians Praha B’s 7-2 win against Jiskra in the Czech third tier, Benson Sakala clocked 90 minutes, making his return from a two-month injury layoff. During the match, Mathews Banda twisted a defender inside out on the right wing before playing in a cross to assist the fourth goal.

Miguel Changa Chaiwa played the first 76 minutes of Hibernian’s 2-1 loss to Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership. In Portugal, Songa Chipyoka was an unused substitute as Moreirense fell 1-0 to AVS in the Taca de Portugal.

Chiwisa scores in Italy, Ngulube suffers relegation in Finland

Former Atalanta BC midfielder Mannah Chiwisa opened his scoring account for Valenzana from the penalty spot during their 4-1 defeat to Biellese in the Italian Serie D. In the CAF Champions League, Obino Chisala featured in the starting XI for Al Merrikh as they lost 1-0 to Horoya in the first leg of the second-round qualifiers.

Samson Ngulube‘s IFK Mariehamn, who needed a win in their final game of the season, got demoted from the Finnish top flight following a stalemate with Jaro. The left back started 20 of the 21 league matches he played for the club since joining from Kafue Celtic in February.

Chewe Mukuka made a cameo for IFK Skovde in the Sweden fourth tier while Twizard Mulenga started for Pozoblanco in the Spanish fourth tier. Meanwhile, Kenneth Kalunga clocked 87 minutes as Kapaz drew 1-1 with Zira in Azerbaijan.
