Lawrence Lubinda, first assistant coach of NAPSA Stars, has warned his squad to be focused as they try to win their second game of the season against Kansanshi Dynamos.

NAPSA Stars will host struggling Kansanshi Dynamos in their Week Eight Super League fixture at REIZ Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Pensioners have started the 2025-26 season poorly, winning one game, drawing four games, and only losing one game.

NAPSA is 13th on the league table with seven points.

Before the international break, the Lusaka-based side played out to a 1-1 draw against Nchanga Rangers

Ahead of the match, Lubinda speaking to the club media, said the team had prepared enough to face Kansanshi Dynamos.

“Tough game looking at the fact that we are coming from a draw away against Nchanga Rangers; it will be tough playing a team that has not won a game this season. From the information we have, it’s a ball-playing team, so we really need to prepare well for them. Of course preparations have gone on well; it’s a must-win game because statistics are showing that we have only scored three goals,” he said.

The Napsa Stars coach further added that “The past two weeks the technical bench took keen interest in the offensive players, the strikers, so we did a lot of work in training, but of course we need to apply that in the real game, so we are hoping the boys will come to the party, especially the strikers, to put the ball behind the net,” noted the coach.

Meanwhile, a victory for Napsa Stars will see them break into the top 10 of the league standings.
