In Kabwe, an own goal by Paul Katayi in the 47th minute gifted home side, Mines United, a crucial win to take the Kabwe based side to 16 points, edging closer to the top four bracket.

In other news, Kafue Eagles, who sent their head coach on administrative leave because of poor performance, picked up a point after their tie with Jumulo FC. Jumulo’s performance was sufficient to propel them up to fifth place on the table with 14 points, while Eagles are bottom with 7 points.
