The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday released the final list of match officials that have been selected for the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League set to kick off in Morocco in 9 days.

Chikotesha has made the final list of 29 officials as she has continued being a consistent figure at both CAF and FIFA tournaments.

She has been picked as an Assistant Video Assistant Referee (AVAR) for the tournament which will start from the 30th of October to the 13th of November in the cities of Rabat and Marrakech.

The appointment comes at a time when Chikotesha was recently named on the list of match officials picked for the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup set for New Zealand and Australia.

Last year, she was also part of the officials at the CAF Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations before the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations which was hosted by Morocco earlier this year.

Chikotesha was also invited to the fabled Maurice Revello Tournament 2022 which was staged in France.

According to the list released by CAF, there will be a technical contribution of 10 referees, 12 assistant referees and seven video referees.

CAF says under the guidance of experienced experts and quality assessors, the selected referees will be training in Morocco from 25 to 29 October.

On the opening day of the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League, two matches will take place at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium while the final will take place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Green Buffaloes FC of Zambia will play Determine Girls FC of Liberia at 17:00hrs local time following by hosts ASFAR of Morocco against Simba Queens SC of Tanzania at 20:00Hrs local time.
