“The month of May wasn’t good for us; we dropped points. I think that phase has passed, and we have to get back to winning ways,” Kelvin Kaindu said.

Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) Head Coach Kelvin Kaindu says he wants his side, Highlanders to return to winning ways this afternoon when they take on Bitika Minerals in a Week 15 encounter.

The team has reorganized itself, according to Kaindu, and this will be the first game of the month after the recent international break.

Bosso slipped from first to fifth position on the league’s table and the team did not record any victories last month, drawing with ZPC Kariba, GreenFuel, and Manica Diamonds and losing 2-0 to former champions FC Platinum.

“The month of May wasn’t good for us; we dropped points. I think that phase has passed, and we have to get back to winning ways,” he told the media during a pre-match briefing ahead of Sunday’s clash against Bikita Minerals.

“I hope the break gave us an advantage in terms of the player’s recovery,” added Kaindu.

The former coach of Zambia’s Zanaco and Nkana Football clubs also gave a team injury report update during this time.

“Godfrey Makaruse and Gillian Nyathi, who sustained minor injuries, are back in training. Our fitness test results showed that everyone is ready to play, with the exception of one player, Archford Faira, who is tending to family matters,” added Kaindu.
