Zambian striker Isaac Ngoma has set his sights on closing the gap with the leading top scorers in the Zimbabwean Premier League.
Hardrock FC striker Washington Navaya and Herentals’ Ralph Kawondera lead the scoring chart with 10 goals each.
The Highlanders striker settled quite quickly in the Zimbabwean Premier League, scoring two goals and providing three assists in just five starts.
However, Ngoma’s promising start has been halted due to paperwork issues as he awaits clearance.
In an interview with Bola News, Ngoma described the league as competitive.
Despite trailing the pacesetters, Ngoma is confident he will score at least more than 10 goals.
“The Zimbabwean league is becoming so competitive, more especially this year, and there’s no small team, so to speak, at the moment,” he said.

“Yes, the league top scorers are both on 10 goals each, but my personal goal is to at least aim to reach double digits as well.”
Ngoma looks forward to have his work permit sorted.
“Though I have just played 7 games so far due to the delay of my permit, I am likely looking forward to catching up in the coming games since the second round has started.”
