FC Muza midfielder Rickson Ng’ambi believes his team is the favorite to win this year’s ABSA Cup tournament.

The Mazabuka-based side, who were finalists in 2023, will be hoping to win their first title this time after losing to Forest Rangers in the final last year.

FC Muza defeated Chirundu United 3-0, advancing to the ABSA Cup quarterfinals.

Ng’ambi told Bolanews in an exclusive interview that the team is in high spirits and ready to win their first title.

“I think the first thing the team is aiming for is high because last year we lost in the final. This year we have another chance to win it which we can not afford to mess up.

“We are seeing ourselves winning, but not just by word of mouth but by action,” said Ng’ambi.

Zambia's biggest club cup competition is now down to eight teams.
