Power Dynamos have rewarded head coach Osward Mutapa with a contract extension that will keep him at Arthur Davies Stadium until 2029 following a period of sustained success.
Mutapa guided Power to back-to-back MTN Super League titles.
He has overseen league triumphs in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
During the same period, he led the club to the group stage of the CAF Champions League, and steered Power to the ABSA Cup final.
Those achievements convinced the club’s hierarchy to hand the coach an improved long-term contract.
Club president Benny Simukoko believes Mutapa is the right man to take Power to even greater heights.
“We have goals as a club, and we believe Coach Mutapa is the man to help us achieve these goals,” Mr. Simukoko told the club media.
Mutapa welcomed the extension and said his focus remains on building on the progress the club has made.
“I am honored to extend my stay at this great club until 2029. We have achieved a lot together, but there is still more to do.
“Our target is to sustain success, compete on the continent, and bring more trophies to our fans,” Mutapa said.
