After suffering another 1-0 loss at the hands of Nkana at the President Stadium over the weekend, the Correct Boys have shifted their attention to their next assignment.

However, a source at the club told BolaNews that assistant coach Collins Mulenga will be in charge of the team like it was in their last game.

Although no official statement has been issued yet, Kaunda is believed to have stepped down barely two weeks after being appointed as head coach on a one-year deal.

The reason behind his resignation is allegedly due to a misunderstanding with the club’s exco over the preference of players.

His first match in charge of the team was against the Mutondo Stars, in which Prisons lost 3-2 at the Arthur Davies Stadium.

Prisons are currently in the relegation zone, sitting in 16th place with only six points from nine matches played so far.

The Correct Boys have won one match, drawn three, and lost five matches.

Prison will face FC Muza on Saturday, who are the only team in the league that is still unbeaten.
