Mumbi explains why Nkana treats every match as if it were the last.

“I believe from this game against (Kansanshi Dynamos) we will get a point which will help us to have a good game on Sunday,” Mumbi, the former NAPSA Stars assistant coach said.

Sipo Mumbi, assistant coach of Nkana Football Club, is certain that the 13-time Champions must continue to put in a lot of effort if they are to stay in the Zambian Super League following their seven-match unbeaten streak.

On Thursday afternoon, Nkana played to a scoreless draw with Green Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.

Nkana’s next match is against Kansanshi Dynamos, who are coming into this match high on confidence after defeating Mutondo Stars 1-0 on Wednesday.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Mumbi explained that the team will utilize home advantage to collect maximum points.

“They are coming off a win, so it won’t be an easy game. “We’re determined to take advantage of the home ground and collect maximum points”

Mumbi added that the race to survive relegation is still with three league matches left of the current season.
