The Copper Queens will play all their group stage matches of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Rabat, Morocco, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed.
The tournament will kick off on Sunday, 26 July 2026, with Algeria facing Senegal at 18:00 local time at the Rabat Olympic Stadium.
Hosts Morocco will begin their campaign later that evening against Kenya at 21:00 at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
Zambia, who will be aiming to progress beyond the quarter-finals and secure qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, will open their campaign against Egypt on 28 July at the Rabat Olympic Stadium. They will then face record winners and defending champions Nigeria on 1 August at 21:00 at Al Madina Stadium.
Nora Häuptle’s side will conclude their group stage campaign against Malawi on 5 August at Al Madina Stadium.

The quarter-finals will be played on 8 and 9 August. The four winners will qualify automatically for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, while the four losing quarter-finalists will remain in contention for places in the World Cup play-offs.
