Fashion Sakala, who finished as the highest-scoring Zambian player with 22 goals and 9 assists for Al-Fayha in Saudi Arabia, picked up where he left off last season.

In a pre-season friendly against SVG Reichenau of Austria, Sakala scored twice and provided one assist, leading his team to a 4-0 victory.

Sakala had a memorable season in the last campaign, becoming the first player in Al-Fayha’s history to score 19 league goals in a single season.

He tied for third in the Saudi Pro League scoring chart with Abderrazak Hamdallah, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo(35) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (28).

He also helped the team reach the knockout stage of the AFC Champions League, scoring three crucial goals in the competition.

His hard work was rewarded with an improved contract, running until 2026 after he attracted interest from other clubs.
