Group G: Who will join Brazil in the round of 16?

It will be the third World Cup meeting between the two teams. Their previous meeting was in the group stage of the 2014 World Cup, when Brazil won 4-1, with Neymar scoring a brace and Fred and Fernandinho also scoring.

The Indomitable Lions need a win to advance to the next round, but history does not favor them, as Brazil has won five of their six meetings with Cameroon in all competitions, including a 1-0 win in a friendly match in November 2018.

Both previous FIFA World Cup games between the two teams were won by the South American team, 3-0 in 1994 and 4-1 in 2014.

Brazil has already qualified for the round of 16 after winning their first two games. If they win tonight, they will take first place in the group.

Cameroon’s chances of progressing to the next round are slim because they must defeat an experienced Brazil team and If prevail, their advancement to the next round is contingent on the outcome of the other game between Serbia and Switzerland.

PREDICTION, BETTING TIP, AND ODDS

Cameroon defeating Brazil today would be a huge upset, as they have not impressed enough at the Qatar World Cup. Brazil, knowing that whether they win or lose, they will still advance to the next round, may opt for a different lineup, which could benefit Cameroon.    SERBIA VS SWITZERLAND

Serbia and Switzerland will face off tonight for the final spot in the knockout stage, with the second spot still up for grabs among the three teams.

The two teams met once in the 2018 World Cup group stage in a match that ended 1-2 in favor of Switzerland.

Serbia has one point heading into tonight’s game; they must win if they are to advance to the round of 16.

Switzerland, on the other hand, is second with three points, and a win would advance them to the round of 16, though a draw could also suffice if Cameroon fails to beat Brazil.

Serbia could advance to the knockout stage with a win, but their chances would be shattered if Cameroon upsets Brazil in the other game.

However, if both Serbia and Cameroon win their matches, then goal difference will be a determining factor in which team makes it to the round of 16.

PREDICTION, BETTING TIP, AND ODDS

Switzerland has an advantage over Serbia and has a good chance of winning this game, which is likely to be full of goals. Try GG @1.73 for both teams to score at least a goal.
