Leicester City FC striker Patson Daka is investing some of his earnings in the real estate market but suffered a setback when criminals broke into one of his properties under construction.
An initial investigation by police on the Copperbelt has revealed that the criminals stole seven wooden doors, 300 boxes of tiles, a water pump, one microwave, and other items whose value is not yet ascertained.
According to a police statement, the robbery that happened on November 23 saw the criminals bundling the security guard on duty, Durani Daka, before executing their mission.
Police have since made six arrests; among them is Victor Kapalu, a caretaker who is believed to have masterminded the crime.
“During investigations, the following items whose value is not yet ascertained were recovered thus (1)- 100 boxes of tales (6060cm) ( 02) 7wooden doors, (03) microwave (04) 3* Cabinet model (05) 1* hand wash basin,” Police said.

The robbery seems to have done little to disturb Daka, who has been on form for his club, scoring two goals in the last three games of the championship.
