Joshua Mutale put the icing on the cake in Simba SC’s 3-1 win against Mbeya City in the Federation Cup, scoring a jaw-dropping solo goal on Sunday. Receiving the ball over 30 yards from goal, the playmaker threaded his way through multiple defenders and left one lying on the ground before netting past the goalkeeper.

In Saudi Arabia, Fashion Sakala Jr. notched yet another assist for Al Fayha in their 2-1 victory over Al Qadsiah, cutting the ball to Renzo Lopez, who flicked it into the net. Sakala has now scored 7 goals in 4 assists in 24 games.

Barbra Banda scores for Pride, Patson Daka features in Leicester City’s draw

Orlando Pride edged Seattle Reign 1-0 courtesy of a Barbra Banda goal in the 41st minute, set up by Summer Yates. Meanwhile, Prisca Chilufya came off the bench in the 61st minute, and Grace Chanda was unavailable.

Elsewhere, Racheal Kundananji played 90 minutes for Bay FC against Chicago Red Stars on Monday morning.

In England, Patson Daka made a substitute appearance after the hour mark as Leicester City ended their eight-match losing streak with a 2-2 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion. On the other hand, Lameck Banda and Kingstone Mutandwa were unused substitutes in the Italian Serie A for US Lecce and Cagliari Calcio, respectively.

Sunzu bags first win, Edward Chilufya plays for Midtjylland

Changchun Yatai tasted their first win of the campaign, beating Meizhou Hakka 3-1 with Stopilla Sunzu clocking 90 minutes. In Denmark, Edward Chilufya was a 62nd-minute substitute in Midtjylland’s 1-1 stalemate with AGF.

Fresh from winning the Copa Italia Primavera, Joseph Liteta started for Cagliari U-20, who beat Juventus U-20 2-1. In the Israeli second tier, Songa Chipyoka made Hapoel Petah Tikva’s starting XI on Friday.

Fridah Mukoma starts in China, Chaiwa unfielded in Switzerland

Miguel Chaiwa watched BSC Young Boys’ 5-0 humbling by FC Luzern from the dugout. Meanwhile, Joseph Sabobo Banda was not in FC Zurich matchday squads. In Iraq, Rodrick Kabwe started for Al Gharraf in the second tier.

In the Chinese Women’s Super League, Fridah Mukoma was in Beijing Jingtan’s starting lineup while Martha Tembo and Lushomo Mweemba started for Hakkarigucu Spor in Turkey.

Ricky Banda starts in Mauritania, Mwepu, Lubambo out

Obino Chisala and Ricky Banda both featured in Al Merrikh’s starting XI as they lost to ASC Snim. Meanwhile, Frankie Musonda, Kelvin Kampamba, Benson Sakala were unfielded substitutes for Ayr United, Al Madina and Mlada Boleslav, respectively.

Francisco Mwepu did not participate in Cadiz CF’s 1-0 defeat to Leche in La Liga 2. In Germany, Lubambo Musonda was unavailable for 1.FC Magdeburg owing to injury.
