The Kafue Celtic player, currently on loan to Red Arrows was joint top scorer at the 2023 COSAFA cup tournament with three goals in five games.

According to South Africa’s Soccer Laduma, the two Dstv Premiership clubs have already enquired about the player’s services.

“For the time being, all I can say is that those two teams have expressed interest in Kangwanda,” a source was quoted as saying.

The report adds that the scouts who were sent to the COSAFA Cup were impressed by Kangwanda.

The 24-year-old has led the Chipolopolo boys to back-to-back COSAFA Cup championships and was an important part of both triumphs.

Last season, he scored the lone goal required in the COSAFA Cup final to give Zambia the victory. He later penned a three-year deal with HNK Gorica of Croatia.

However, his stay in Europe was short-lived as he returned to Zambia middle way through his first season at Gorica.
