The clearance means Red Arrows and ZESCO United met the required criteria of Sporting Infrastructure, Personnel, and Administrative, Legal, and Financial, whose submission deadline date for all the licensing decisions and documents was June 30, 2024.

The license is a pre-requisite for a club to play in CAF interclub competitions.

“Several clubs across the continent have undergone a licensing process at the level of their respective national associations” CAF said.

Zambian champions, Red Arrows will face Malawian champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the CAF Champions league first preliminary round.
