Senegalese forward Sadio Mane who cost Liverpool £35 million, signed a three-year contract with Bayern Munich last summer.
The former Liverpool talisman, however, fell out of favor with the coaching staff due to his struggles with injuries and was suspended by the time April rolled around due to an altercation with teammate Leroy Sane.
He was not included in Bayern’s pre-season friendly against Kawasaki Frontale on Saturday in Tokyo, despite having traveled there. Over the course of 38 appearances, Mane scored 12 goals.
And yesterday, following their £24 million agreement to sign him from Bayern Munich, he completed a physical with Al-Nassr.
Mane has acknowledged that he was hurt to leave Bayern Munich and wishes that circumstances at the club might have been better for him.
“Leaving FC Bayern hurts me. I would have wished for a different ending. And I know that I could have helped the team this season. I wanted to prove it to everyone this season.” he told Sky Sports.
Sadio wishes Bayern the best
The 31-year-old wished the club and fans all the best for the future. “Nevertheless, I only wish the club and the fans all the best for the future,” he said.
Despite things not going entirely to plan for the Senegalese star at Bayern Munich, Mane had a successful spell at Liverpool after joining Southampton in 2016.
