The Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League (PSL), which was supposed to begin on February 24 but was postponed, will now begin this weekend with the Battle of Zimbabwe as the matchday one fixture.
In an interview with BolaNews, Kaindu stated that he has settled in well at the club and is ready for the season now that his work permit has been processed.
“I have settled well. My permit is now out, and I’m on the ground now.”

Kaindu, whose team did not record a loss in pre-season, says the technical has continued to shape up for the 2024 Premier League season.
“We are still preparing the team for the season. Winning is good, but sometimes in pre-season it doesn’t help much to identify your weakness, but it’s good because every player has been given a chance to play,” he said.
The former Zanaco gaffer said he is aware of expectations at the club because Bosso is a big team with high expectations.
“Expectations for highlanders will always be high because it’s a big team,” he reveals. “We have promoted a number of our junior players to the main team; hence, we want to build a very strong foundation.”
The match will be played on Sunday at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo, with the kick-off set for 15:00hrs Central African time.
Last season, the two sides drew 0-0 at the Barbourfields Stadium, while the second game was called off due to a large crowd, with Dynamos leading 2-0.
Highlanders were fined, with Dynamos given three points and a 3-nil win.
