Coach Numba Mumamba has responded to Chisi Mbewe’s audacious statement aimed at Kabwe Warriors supporters, saying the outcome will depend on both teams to perform on the pitch.

Kabwe Warriors last reached their first ever Cup final in 2007 when they faced Nakambala Leopards in the Bp top 8.

Warriors seeking to win their first ABSA Cup title in their Club’s history progressed to the final after defeating FC MUZA 2-1 last week Saturday.

Prior to the finale, Kabwe based businessman Matthew Mohan among others have sponsored buses and free tickets for travelling fans to support the Magnificent People’s team.

In the meantime, Mumamba will be eyeing to win his second Absa Cup title after having won it with Zanaco FC in 2017.

“We can contain Red Arrows”- Numba Mumamba.

Speaking at a media briefing at ABSA House in Lusaka on Friday, Mumamba said the most important thing is to know how to handle the pressure that comes in football.

“I think like he said he has all the experience, he has won the league, he has been in the finals before. And it’s upto both teams to work hard there is nothing like having pressure or anything. What is important is to handle that pressure when it comes,”

“We have the players and the technical bench that can handle pressure that comes with the magnitude of this kind of tournament. He did well to answer you the way he answered, and I think that’s the way it is in football. All you need to do is handle the pressure when it comes,”Numba said.
