Former Nkwazi FC striker, Isaac Ngoma is the latest Zambian to trek to Zimbabwe after he joined Highlanders, on a two year deal, as a free agent.
Prior to joining Highlanders, Ngoma featured for Zambian National League side, Indeni FC before his contract expired.
He also played for Police-sponsored outfit Nkwazi FC before a brief stay at Prison Leopards.
Speaking to Bolanews exclusively, Ngoma said, “Yes, definitely every player has goals in his or her career, and my goal is to help the team win the championship and score more goals for them. My set target is to win the league with the team,” he said.
The ex-Nkwazi striker is looking forward to experience a different football environment.
“Am looking forward to feeling a different environment and learning a different football at that level because the Zimbabwean league has improved compared to what people think; it’s now very competitive,” added Ngoma.

Ngoma called on the fans to rally behind him.
“Fans should keep supporting and believing in their own players that have gone abroad, not just me, but everyone because football involves everyone and it’s not a one-man show,” said Ngoma.
Highlanders are 12th on the log with six points from six games played so far The Bulawayo-based side is yet to register a win this season.
