Mwenya Chipepo, the head coach of Nkana, is determined to return his team back to winning ways when they play the NAPSA Stars on Saturday at Nkana Stadium.

At REIZ Arena, the first meeting between the two teams ended in a 1-0 victory for Nkana, who were then coached by Ian Bakala.

Prior to their 2 nil away loss to Zesco United, Nkana had held the top spot in the league table, and Chipepo recognized the annoyance of supporters who had put their trust in the squad.

Speaking during a pre-match interview, Chipepo expressed confidence in his squad’s readiness.

“We have prepared very well. I can see the way they performed in training that they are ready for the game,” he said.

“We want to make sure that we pick three points. We know our fans are not happy because they had confidence in us, and we want to make them happy as well,” Chipepo added.

The coach emphasized that his players understand the importance of this match and are eager to redeem themselves.

“They know what they want. You could see even in training that they were very angry about that loss,” he said.

Nkana will be looking to bounce back and give their supporters a reason to celebrate once again.
