“We Have To Fight” -Kunsanama On Lusaka Atletico’s Visit To Mighty

The Bad Boys are coming from a goalless draw against Kabwe Warriors, hoping to walk away with a positive result at Shinde stadium.

According to Brian Kunsanama, head coach of Atletico Lusaka, his team would strive to earn as many points as possible in their final six games in order to avoid relegation.

Atletico Lusaka will face Mufulira Wanderers in their Week 29 fixture at Shinde Stadium on Saturday.

The Bad Boys are coming from a goalless draw against Kabwe Warriors and will be hoping to walk away with a positive result away from home. 

The draw result saw the Lusaka based side move to 13th place with 33 points.  Atletico Lusaka have been inconsistent this season winning eight games, drawing nine and losing eleven matches. 

“Mufulira Not Easy Place” – Kunsanama.

However, in their remaining six fixtures, Atletico Lusaka will need to collect a possible 18 points to stand achance of surviving relegation. 

Speaking in an interview ahead of the match, Atletico Lusaka head coach Brian Kunsanama said they are taking each game as a final because the team knows what is at stake. 

“Playing in Mufulira is not an easy place to go so we are taking it as serious as we can because the boys know what is at stake.

“We have to go there and fight for a positive result because we have reached a stage in the league where every game is like a cup final so we will give it our best to ensure we collect three points,“said the coach. 

“We just need to go there with our principles and prepare our boys in the right way and I think the boys are looking ready, come Saturday we will give it our best,”said Kunsanama. 

Meanwhile, a win for the Lusaka based side will see them leapfrog FC MUZA in 10th place.
