Power Dynamos Football Club has advanced talks with Shamuel Academy for Malawian international midfielder Chifundo Mphasi.

BolaNews has established that Mphasi has agreed to personal terms with Aba Yellow. The player could join them after his season-long loan with Kabwe Warriors ended.

Power Dynamo has also planned to unveil the 19-year-old as their new signing, should contractual agreements be concluded.

Last season, he had eight assists for the Warriors, helping the Magnificent People’s Team finish in the top five of the MTN Super League.

Last year, the Malawian striker was on the verge of moving to Israel but a deal fell through as talks did not advance.

Kabwe Warriors are also understood to be negotiating a permanent deal with the Mphasi. However, it looks unlikely that he will stay at Warriors, according to sources close to the player.
