Kenyan striker Moses Shumah has been named Power Dynamos’ Player of the Season following a brilliant first season with the Arthur Davies Stadium outfit.
Shumah was key to Power’s league triumph, scoring 21 goals.
On Sunday, the club honoured outstanding performers during its awards gala, with the Kenyan forward walking away with three accolades.
Shumah was voted Fans’ Player of the Season, Player of the Season and also bagged the Golden Boot for his 24 goals across all competitions this season.
In other awards, the club gave the Goalkeeper of the Season award to both Lawrence Mulenga and Willard Mwanza, while defender Khondwani Chiboni was named Most Consistent Player of the Season.
Chiboni was also voted by his peers as Players’ Player of the Season.
Midfielders Frederick Mulambia and Chifundo Mphasi were named Disciplined Player of the Season and Most Improved Player, respectively.
