Following four consecutive league matches without a loss, Zanaco FC defeated Nkana FC 1-0 at Sunset Stadium in Week 13, their first win for the bankers in eleven games.

Ahead of their away match against Nkana on Saturday, Green Buffaloes also lost a midweek match at Edwin Imboela Stadium to High Flying Nkwazi, 1-2.

Mwenya Chipepo’s team will try to get back to winning ways as they aim for an ABSA Cup spot when Nkana hosts the Buffaloes at Nkana Stadium.

With 11 wins to Nkana’s 10, Buffaloes have a one-game advantage in their head-to-head record.

After four consecutive victories, the host team, Aba Red, had closed in the top four slots; however, this momentum faded, and they now trail the Buffaloes by three points.

The Masauso Tembo drilled side, Buffaloes are in fourth place with 22 points, while Kalampa is in seventh place with 19.
