George Chilufya will lead Mutondo Stars in the new season following the departure of Zeddy Saileti, club president Everisto Kabila has confirmed.

Chilufya, formerly of Nkana, Power Dynamos and Green Eagles was last season added to the Mutondo setup as technical advisor to Saileti.

Saileti, a former Chipolopolo international is credited for having promoted Mutondo from the provincial league right up to the Super League.

However, after guaranteeing safety last season, Saileti left the club for Kansanshi who he will be hoping to help promote to the Super League.
