Mufulira Wanderers are in advanced negotiations secure the services of Nkwazi Football Club captain, Crawford Mwaba.

The defender is set to join on a two-year loan deal from the Zambia Police-sponsored side, according to BolaNews sources.

The deal could be wrapped up as soon as next week, with Mwaba already training with the Copperbelt team.

He is likely to make an appearance in their upcoming pre-season friendly against Jumulo FC in Luanshya.

Maite had a tough end to last season, narrowly avoiding relegation. They believe Mwaba’s arrival will strengthen their squad and help them achieve their goals for the 2024/25 season, which kicks off next weekend.
