As the race for survival hits up, Dennis Makinka, first assistant coach at Kansanshi Dynamos says his boys are determined to collect maximum points against Green Buffaloes on Saturday.

The Mabanga Boys will host the Nyanta Boys in a Week ZPL 31 fixture at Solwezi Independence Stadium.

Last week, Kansanshi Dynamos demolished FC MUZA 3 nil to ignite their chances of avoiding relegation.

The victory moved the Solwezi based-side two steps away from the relegation waters as they sit in 12th place with 35 points from 29 matches played so far.

Kansanshi Dynamos will need to collect maximum points in their remaining fixtures to cement their place in the league standings.

Kansanshi has managed to win eight games, draw eleven, and lose ten matches.

Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, Makinka believes his boys are ready to collect three points.

“Obviously, you know, playing against Green Buffaloes is not an easy game. But we are preparing to get maximum points, especially since we are playing from our home ground,” he said.

With only four games left before the season comes to an end, the Mabanga boys will fight to cement their place in the Elite League.

“For us to leave that pack, which is in the relegation zone, we need to pick maximum points. So we are preparing and getting ready just to play for all the points,” added Makinka.
