Despite finishing in 11th position in the league standings at the end of the 2024–25 Zambian Super League season, the Nchanga Rangers Executive Committee has reiterated their commitment to the club for the 2025–26 season.
Rangers did not secure a top four position in the just concluded season, despite managing to escape the relegation zone with an abysmal performance.
The Chingola-based team had a strong start to the 2024–25 season, dominating the top four in the league’s opening weeks.
Prudence Chisakuta, the vice president of human capital management at KCM, gave the team assurances of the company’s support during an interview with the Club’s media.
“When you win, the impact on the Copper production is impacted and thus, the more reason why positive results remain key to us,” she said.
On the other hand, Club president David Mukumbuta Mukelabai believes the team will perform better this time around.
“Our Exco is confident that both teams will compete favorably in the upcoming season, and we will support them in any way possible,” noted the Club president.
Brave Rangers won nine games, drew fifteen, and lost ten. The upcoming season will see Nchanga Rangers hoping for a better showing.
