Defending Champions, Power Dynamos have opened a ten-point lead at the summit of the Zambian Premier League 2025-26 season with 61 points from 28 games played so far.

Dynamos have registered 18 victories, drawn 7, and only lost 2 games in their quest to retain the title and win a double this season.

Aba Yellow have dominated this season, with a 2-0 victory over Nchanga Rangers at Nkoloma stadium on Sunday, progressing to the semi-finals of the ABSA Cup competition.

However, despite their dominance this season, Power Dynamos midfielder, Salulani Phiri encouraged the upcoming players within the squad to remain humble.

“When we are going through this moment, we have to be humble, keep your feet down, and wear no jackets. Stay together as a team, and the coaches have always said the pressure belongs to them; for us it’s to perform. We the players have no pressure. Our job is just to perform,” he said.

On Wednesday, Power Dynamos beat Nkwazi 0-1 at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

“If they remain humble, then they will go far in their football career. I have been encouraging them, and I always talk to them whenever I get a chance. Football is a short career, so there is nothing to be excited about,” added Phiri.
