Elsewhere, in Angel City’s 2-1 defeat to Portland Thorns, Prisca Chilufya scored the consolation goal with an emphatic volley after coming on as a substitute at 84 minutes. It was her first goal for the club since making a move from Orlando Pride in October last year.

Rachaeal Kundananji returned from an upper leg injury, which sidelined her for six weeks, to feature in the last half hour of Bay FC’s humbling 3-0 loss to NY/NJ Gotham. In Mexico, Grace Chanda started her 5th consecutive league match for Gallos Blancos de Querétaro, who finished second from bottom in the 2026 Liga MX Femenil Clausura.

On the African continent, Clatous Chota Chama set up Simba SC’s first two goals as they walloped Mlandege 3-0 in the Muungano Cup to set a date with rivals Yanga SC in the final. Meanwhile, in Rwanda, Obino Chisala assisted the second goal from a corner in Al Merrikh’s 3-0 win over Bugesera.

Lameck Banda played the first 80 minutes of US Lecce’s 0-0 draw with Hellas Verona, helping secure a point that keeps them clear of the relegation zone. Relegated Leicester City stunned promotion-chasing Millwall, earning a 1-1 draw as Patson Daka clocked over 90 minutes.

In Scotland, Miguel Changa Chaiwa marshalled in midfield for resilient Hibernian, who gave Hearts a run for their money despite a two-man deficit before losing 2-1 after leading.

Chanka Zimba’s title party postponed; Katongo’s impressive cleansheet earns Kayserispor vital 2-0 win

Chanka Zimba‘s Inverness Caledonian Thistle were held to a 1-1 draw by East Fife and will need to win their final game of the season to lift the Scottish League One title and secure promotion. In Israel, Kings Kangwa started Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s 2-2 stalemate with second-placed Beitar Jerusalem, a result that keeps his side in the driving seat of the title race.

Chipolopolo winger Edward Chilufya scored his first goal of the year for Midtjylland against Sønderjyske at halftime in the Danish league.

Likewise, Midtjylland remained top of the Danish Superliga on goal difference following a goalless draw with AGF, who are breathing down their necks. Edward Chilufya was an unused substitute. In Turkiye, Jadel Katongo was solid at the back for relegation-battling Kayserispor, bagging his third cleansheet in seven appearances as they beat Rezispor 2-0.

Lahne’s Lustenau remain at the summit despite hiding, Lubambo’s 1.FC Magdeburg facing the drop.

Jack Lahne played the first half of Austria Lustenau’s humiliating 3-0 defeat to Austria Klagenfurt in the Austrian second-tier. Austria Lustenau still maintains first position in the standings, leading by a point. In the topflight, Kingstone Mutandwa got 90 minutes in the tank as SV Ried lost 1-0 to WSG Tirol.

Lubambo Musonda‘s 1. FC Magdeburg were defeated 1-0 by Nürnberg in the Bundesliga II. They now sit in the relegation playoffs spot. In the Liga Leumit, Kennedy Musonda made the starting lineup for Hapoel Nof HaGalil in their 4-1 loss to Hapoel Raanana.

In Armenia, Joseph Sabobo Banda started a 1-1 draw between Alashkert and Noah while Golden Mafwenta was prematurely withdrawn in the 29th minute as Naftan Novopolotsk and Vitebsk shared the spoils in Belarus.

Toaster Nsabata earns starting berth, Benson Sakala out

Toaster Nsabata was between the sticks for Sekhukhune United as they took on Marumo Gallants, while Ghampani Lungu clocked 90 minutes for Siwelele against Golden Arrows. Meanwhile, in Zimbabwe, Andrew Phiri and Chitoshi Chinga made substitute appearances for Hardrock and CAPS United, respectively.

Frank Chileshe and Bonephanseo Phiri both started for Locomotive Tbilisi in the Georgian third tier, while Ricky Chanda and Benjamin Chisala featured for Nomme United in Estonia. In the United Arab Emirates, Emmanuel Mutale played the entirety of Gulf United’s 2-1 loss vs. United FC.

Both Twizard Mulenga and Samson Ngulube remained on the bench in Spain and Finland, respectively. Benson Sakala, Mathews Banda, Emmanuel Banda, Songa Chipyoka, Gift Siame, Peter Chikola, Cyril Chibwe, and Emmanuel Mwiinde were unavailable at the weekend.
