Nkana FC: Idriss Ilunga Mbombo (13 goals)
With a league-high 13 goals, Idriss Mbombo inspired Nkana’s dramatic turnaround from relegation battlers to Zambian Super League title contenders.
Green Eagles FC: Simon Mulenga (11 goals)
Filling in the boots of 2023-24 Golden Boot winner Freddy Michael Kouablan, Simon Mulenga returned 11 goals for Green Eagles.
Nkwazi FC: Innocent Kashita (10 goals)
Innocent Kashita was the highest scoring midfielder in the topflight, scoring ten goals for Nkwazi.
FC MUZA: Andrew Phiri (10 goals)
He finished as FC Muza’s top scorer for the third campaign in a row, hitting double digits in every topflight season.
Power Dynamos FC: Brian Masanyinga (9 goals)
The Zambian Super League champions reaped the rewards of signing Brian Masanyinga, who scored nine goals for Aba Yellow.
Zanaco FC: Lambert Araina (9 goals)
The Bankers got over the line in the relegation battle partly thanks to the nine goals scored by Lambert Araina.
Atletico Lusaka: Benjamin Chisala (9 goals)
Chisala watched his side fall back Division One.
Mutondo Stars: Titus Chansa (9 goals)
Chansa emerged as Mutondo Stars’ leading goal scorer with nine goals. He joined Power Dynamos in the second half of the season and scored four goals to end the season with 13 goals.
Kabwe Warriors FC: Godfrey Binga (8 goals)
The NAPSA Stars FC striker left Kabwe Warriors with a tally of eight goals, which remained the highest at the club.
NAPSA Stars FC: Evans Kayombo (8 goals)
At NAPSA Stars, Evans Kayombo was the club’s top scorer in the league, having scored eight times.
Forest Rangers: Quadri Kola (7 goals):
The Nigerian’s seven league goals could not save Fole Malembe from demotion.
Mufulira Wanderers: Clive Biyeta, Evans Chisenga (6 goals each)
At the Shinde Stadium, Evans Chisenga and Clive Biyeta carried the mantle of scoring goals, netting six goals each.
Zesco United FC: Freddy Michael Kouablan, George Ngoma (5 goals each)
ZESCO United struggled to find the back of the net, with no player surpassing five goals. Mid-season acquisition Freddy Michael was the club’s top scorer, alongside George Ngoma, with only five goals.
Red Arrows FC: Angel Lubamba, Alassane Diarra (5 goals each)
No Red Arrows player was anywhere near the record of ten goals scored by Ricky Banda in 2023-24.
Green Buffaloes: Lucky Bwalya (5 goals)
Nchanga Rangers: Maxwell Mulutula, Laurent Mwanza (5 goals each):
Lumwana Radiants: Paul Tembo (5 goals): Tembo netted five goals for Lumwana Radiants, who got relegated for the third time in five years.
Indeni FC: Jonathan Munalula (5 goals): A season to forget for the Ndola-based outfit, whose only positive from the campaign was Munalula’s goal-scoring form.
