Kebby Hachipuka, head coach of the Green Eagles football club, is confident his team is ready to face Kitwe giants, Power Dynamos this Saturday.
The Choma-based team will meet Dynamos, who are in second position, in a Week 17 match at Choma Independence Stadium.
Eagles have only managed to earn two of a potential six points in their last two games.
After a 1-1 draw away at Green Buffaloes the previous weekend, Green Eagles will be looking to avenge that drop of points at home.
Speaking to Bolanews in an exclusive interview, head Coach Kebby Hachipuka says it will not be an easy game, but his side is ready to fight for the three points.
“It won’t be an easy game, but we have prepared adequately to make sure we secure the three maximum points,”be said.
“Saturday’s game will be an interesting one that will see us experience a football affair that will make history,”added the coach.
With 25 points from 15 games—six wins, seven draws, and just two losses— Eagles sit in fifth slot on the Zambian Premier League table.
A win for Eagles will see the Choma based side level on points with Power Dynamos on 28 points.
With a top five finish, before mid-season break, Eagles will secure a spot in the 2025 ABSA Cup tournament.
