Athletico Lusaka head coach Brian Kunsanama has urged his players to be clinical in front of goal and take advantage of every opportunity that arises, noting so many missed chances in their last game.

The Bad Boys drew 0-0 with Mighty Mufulira Wanderers in a week 12 fixture at Nkoloma Stadium on Sunday but moved up to 11th place with 14 points.

The newly promoted side has only won four games, drawn five, and lost four. Against Wanderers, they as always dominated play and created numerous chances but failed to convert them, resulting in a draw.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Head Coach Brian Kunsanama challenged his players to step up and begin to maximize every opportunity created.

“We need to go back and work on the finishing. This is the message I have passed on to the boys: we need to wake up and step up in terms of being responsible.

“Players need to take responsibility when we reach the final third,” he said.

“At this level, its a worrying thing because if you need to compete at this level, you need to get the result that you are fighting for,” added Kunsanama.
