Liverpool vs Real Madrid

Liverpool and Real Madrid will square off tonight in the first leg of their last 16 tie in what will be a repeat of the 2021-22 Champions League final.

The Reds appear to have recovered from a string of poor results with two impressive Premier League victories over Everton and Newcastle United. They will be hoping to maintain their recent form and pick up a win in tonight’s game.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid heads into this game with four wins in their last five matches across all competitions.

They are also fresh from winning their record fifth FIFA Club World Cup, and they will be confident of a positive result at Anfield tonight.

The Los Blancos have an excellent record against Liverpool and they are unbeaten in their last 6 games against the Premier League giants.

Real Madrid has won four of their last five meetings with Liverpool in the Champions League including a 1-0 win in the final last season.

They have also kept a clean sheet in their last 3 away matches against Liverpool in the Champions League.

The Spanish side are obviously the better team here and they should be able to get a straight victory at Anfield.

BETTING TIP: Real Madrid to win or draw with 0-2 goals in the match.
