English Premier League

Chelsea Vs Man. City prediction, preview, odds and betting tips

Big-spending Chelsea, who are currently 10th in the English Premier League standings with 25 points in 16 matches, will welcome Manchester City tonight and are in desperate need of a win to keep their hopes of playing in the Champions League next season alive.

Since the Premier League resumed play, Chelsea has collected four points from two games. Still, their victory over Bournemouth and draw against Nottingham Forest were not convincing, and they now appear to be in for a challenge tonight.

Meanwhile, City who are eight points behind Arsenal and must win to close the gap will be motivated to upset the struggling Blues after the Gunners drew with Newcastle on Monday.

Chelsea and Manchester City drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest and Everton, respectively in their last Premier League matches.

At Stamford Bridge tonight, City can make up for their surprisingly poor goal-scoring performance from their previous game that cost them a point.

Pep Guardiola’s men overcame Chelsea 2-0 in the EFL Cup in November and won both league meetings 1-0 last season. They will look to maintain their dominance tonight in west London.

BETTING TIPS, ODDS, AND PREDICTION

Chelsea has recently struggled with only two victories in their past seven games. The visitors should be motivated to win because a victory would allow them to close the gap on league leaders Arsenal to only five points. Go for goals or Manchester City to win.
