Two of Europe’s elite football clubs are set to clash in a thrilling UEFA Champions League final at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be making their second appearance in a Champions League final, having lost their first attempt 1-0 to Bayern Munich.

In contrast, Inter Milan are seasoned veterans on this stage with three titles to their name. They will be eager to add a fourth after falling short in the 2023 final.

PSG appear revitalized under the guidance of Luis Enrique, even in the absence of star forward Kylian Mbappé. Enrique is no stranger to European glory, having led Barcelona to the Champions League title and a historic treble in 2015.

For Inter, this match presents a chance at redemption for Simone Inzaghi, who oversaw their narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the 2023 final. He now has a golden opportunity to rewrite that chapter.

Both teams enter the final in strong form. PSG have registered four wins and one loss in their last five matches, while Inter remain unbeaten, with four wins and a draw. Notably, Inter have also won their last two meetings against PSG, adding an extra layer of intrigue to this much-anticipated showdown.

Players to watch

Ousmane Dembélé (PSG) – Arrived in the French capital after a timid spell at Barcelona, Dembele is undoubtedly a lethal piece of PSG’s attack; the French forward seems to be a man reborn in Paris. He has a chance to attain legendary status should he help PSG win their first European trophy. He has a record of 33 goals and provided 11 assists.

Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan) – The Argentine forward is undoubtedly a focal point of Inter Milan, his Inzaghi’s deadliest offensive weapon. A lot will be expected from him in this encounter. He has a record of 22 goals and has 3 assists across all competitions.

BETTING TIP: This will be a tantalising fixture. Difficult to predict, but a goal for goals. GG, both teams to score over 3 goals.

ODDS: 2.17
