2012 AfCON winner, Collins Mbesuma believes Zambia’s envoys in the CAF Champions League Power Dynamos have the capacity to overturn their 1-0 defeat registered in the first leg fixture match.
The Zambian Champions suffered a 1-0 defeat to Al Merreikh during their CAF Champions League preliminary fixture in Rwanda last weekend.
Aba Yellow will be hoping to overturn the defeat when the two sides meet in the return leg on Saturday at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
However, speaking to Bolanews exclusively, Mbesuma urged Power Dynamos to attack more.
“Going into the game, they should play a less defensive game; they need to attack more with caution. They are playing at home, and they should utilize the home ground advantage. Looking at their current squad, they have enough depth to overturn their first result,” he said.
“The team will win at home with their Champions League experience, but they must be careful on counterattacks. Their opponents will come to defend and play on the counterattacks,” added Mbesuma.
Power Dynamos must win by a minimum of two unanswered goals to maintain their Champions League aspirations and advance to the next round of the tournament.
