The Kabwe Warriors of the Zambian Super League are interested in attacking midfielder Chimwemwe Idana, who is based in Malawi.
Idana was on one and a half-year contract with Tanzania’s Mbeya FC and spent five months on loan with Silver Strikers of Malawi.
Idana is a player that the president of Kabwe Warriors, Mutale Ngandu, has expressed interest in signing.
He disclosed that they had made an effort to negotiate with the player but were unable to do so because of unresolved issues with his parent club.
Two clubs are apparently interested in signing the player, who was supposedly in Zambia a few days ago.
When asked if the player was in the Kabwe camp, Ng’andu responded that they weren’t together. He replied, “No, the player is not here.
“Time will come” – Matemba.
In Malawi, the player does not respond to questions over his transfer, and he always refers journalists to his manager Davie Matemba.
When BolaNews called, the manager didn’t say much other than, “Time will come when we explain about this transfer.”
