Know the 2025 AfCON venues to host Zambia’s matches

Morocco has assembled a world-class portfolio of stadiums for the tournament. The Grand Stade de Tanger, with 68,000 seats, stands as a modern architectural landmark named after explorer Ibn Battuta.

In their Group A matches at the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) Morocco 2025, Zambia will take on Mali, Comoros and hosts Morocco.

All the matches will be played at some of the continent’s finest stadiums.

The tournament runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

Zambia, the 2012 AfCON champion, will begin their campaign on December 22 at 16:00 against Mali at the historic Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.

The 67,000-capacity stadium will also stage Chipolopolo’s second match against Comoros on 26 December at 19:30.

Their final Group A match against hosts Morocco will be at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah on December, 29.

With a capacity of 69,500, it’s Morocco’s second largest stadium and it is will host both the opening match and the AfCON 2025 final.

Beyond the Group A venues, Morocco has assembled a world-class portfolio of stadiums for the tournament. The Grand Stade de Tanger, with 68,000 seats, stands as a modern architectural landmark named after explorer Ibn Battuta.

The Grand Stade d’Agadir offers 45,480 seats along Morocco’s Atlantic coast, while the Grand Stade de Marrakech provides 45,240 seats.

The Complexe Sportif de Fès blends modern infrastructure with traditional design and seats 45,000 spectators.

These stadiums reflect Morocco’s readiness to deliver one of the most modern and well-organized AfCON tournaments ever staged.
