Fashion Sakala was announced yesterday as the new player for the Saudi Arabian club Al Fayha from Rangers FC on a two-year deal with an option for an extension.
Sakala joined Rangers from Belgian side KV Oostende on a free transfer in 2021.
His departure to Saudi Arabia for a transfer fee reportedly in the region of £4 million, while he was at the pinnacle of his career under Michael Beale, has drawn conflicting reactions from Zambian and Rangers fans.
Sakala, who scored 24 goals with 15 assists in 91 appearances, also won the Scottish Cup title with the Gers.
