Perry Mutapa, is expecting a tough match when his side, Green Eagles FC will face FC Leopards in a Week 23 MTN-FAZ Super League fixture at Kabwe’s President Stadium on Saturday.

The Tonka Twende, in search of their first three-match winning streak this season after wins over Kansanshi Dynamos and FC MUZA in past two league encounters.

The Choma side has scored four goals in the last two matches between both Kansanshi Dynamos and FC MUZA via identical scorelines of 2-1.

Mutapa’s side are seventh with 32 points and come up against FC Leopards, who are in the relegation zone with 16 points in 17th place.

Mutapa states that he is wary of the threat that comes with playing a team in the relegation zone.

“Playing with Leopards, who are in the red zone, is going to be very difficult. But we should continue on the winning trajectory,” he said.

He has cautioned his side against being complacent.

“In the second round, we have done so well, but we shouldn’t be overconfident. We should just work hard and try; even when we are going away, we should try and get maximum points.”

Mutapa has also commended striker Derrick Bulaya, who recently returned from a loan spell in Mozambique, scoring crucial goals in the last two matches, describing him as a clinical striker.

“He is a very important player, as you can see; the winning goal [against Kansanshi] was a poacher’s goal. I think he may be the most lethal striker. So for us, it’s a massive boost to have Bulaya,” he noted.
