Relegation bound Kansanshi Dynamos will need to dig deep into their arsenal to collect maximum points when they take on Mighty Mufulira Wanderers at Solwezi stadium on Saturday.
The Mabanga boys dropped into the D-zone after Mutondo Stars beat Zesco United in a rescheduled fixture on Thursday to occupy 15th place.
Ahead of Week 23 fixture, Kansanshi Dynamos have registered two consecutive defeats with one draw, collecting only one point from a possible nine points.
Last weekend, Kansanshi Dynamos suffered a 2-1 defeat to Green Eagles.
Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, first assistant coach Dennis Makinka said, “We have been looking at the table. Obviously, after yesterday’s games, we have dropped into the relegation zone, but of course, we still have a lot of games; we have about 12 games. Difficult month with three games in about seven days,” he said.
The former Nkwazi acknowledged their opponents’ current form.

“Mighty are playing very good football at the moment. I think they have won about four or three in a row. We expect a tough game, but yeah, we are playing at home with our supporters behind us; we should rise to the occasion. We expect a very good game, and we are planning to get maximum points. Where we are now, we don’t have to drop points,” added Makinka.
“We are worried that Mighty is playing good football, possession football. You know they can keep the ball well, and so can our team. That’s our type of game, so it’s going to be a good game,” said Makinka.
