Head coach Numba Mumamba says his side, Zanaco FC is prepared and focused on securing maximum points when they meet Konkola Blades at Sunset Stadium on Sunday.
The fixture will be a clash of two in-form teams in Stream A after they both opened the season with victories lin Week One last week.
Zanaco managed a 1-nil win away at Nchanga Rangers, while Konkola Blades silenced league defending Champions, Power Dynamos 2-1 at Konkola stadium.
Speaking ahead of the match, Mumamba said the team will need to maintain absolute focus and execution in order to collect maximum points.
“It will be our first game of the season at home, and we have to be on top of things for us to collect maximum points from Konkola Blades,” he noted.
The former Kabwe Warriors boss is anticipating a highly competitive match.
“As we prepare for the encounter against Konkola Blades, we expect a very tough game. Otherwise, in terms of our preparations, everything has been going on well; the players are ready and geared for this important fixture,” he declared.
A win for Zanaco will push the Lusaka based side to the summit with six points from two matches.
